History repeats itself... Or does it?
Houkago no Charisma also known as After School Charisma takes place in the year 2XXX A.D., and is a series that focuses on the school life of a "normal" boy named Shiro Kamiya and his clone friends. The setting of the series takes place at St. Kleio Academy, a very exclusive school where all of the students are clones of famous historical figures (such as Beethoven, Queen Elizabeth I, Napoleon, Mozart, and Freud). All of the students at St. Kleio are clones except for Shiro Kamiya, who not only struggles to adjust to his famous classmates, but also learns the pressure and hardships of the clones. As Shiro tries his best to adapt to this unusual campus, St. Kleio's first graduate, a clone of John F. Kennedy, is killed, causing a wave of panic in the students of the academy. Are the clones doomed to repeat the fate of their genetic progenitors, or can they create their own destinies? And how does a normal boy like Shiro fit in?放課後のカリスマ is a seinin/mystery series by Suekane Kumiko is being serialized in Ikki (Shogakukan) and has released 3 volumes since the start of its publication in 2008.
